Jennifer Pahlka is the founder and former executive director of Code for America, a nonprofit that helps make government work for the people who need it most. She served as U.S. Deputy Chief Technology Officer under President Obama, where she helped start the United States Digital Service. Her recent book, Recoding America, explores how digital transformation and bureaucratic reform must go hand in hand. Jennifer is a recipient of the Skoll Award for Social Entrepreneurship and has been named one of Forbes' Most Powerful Women Changing the World with Philanthropy.
